Whoopi Goldberg

Whoopi Goldberg (born Caryn Elaine Johnson on November 13, 1955) is an American comedian, actress, television host, and author, known for her groundbreaking career in comedy and film.

Goldberg rose to fame with her one-woman Broadway show before making her film debut in The Color Purple (1985). She gained worldwide recognition with Ghost (1990), winning an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She has starred in hit films like Sister Act (1992), Sister Act 2 (1993), and Made in America (1993).

Beyond acting, Goldberg is a co-host on The View, making her a prominent voice in media. She is one of the few entertainers to achieve EGOT status (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony winner).
