Ellen DeGeneres

Ellen DeGeneres (born January 26, 1958) is an American comedian, television host, actress, and producer, best known for her groundbreaking talk show The Ellen DeGeneres Show (2003–2022).

DeGeneres started her career in stand-up comedy before gaining national fame with her sitcom Ellen (1994–1998), where she made history as one of the first openly gay lead characters on television. Her daytime talk show became one of the most popular in TV history, known for humor, celebrity interviews, and philanthropic efforts.

Beyond television, she has hosted the Oscars, Grammys, and Emmys and is an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and animal welfare.
