Rodri
Rodri (born Rodrigo Hernández Cascante on June 22, 1996) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Manchester City and the Spain national team. Known for his intelligence, passing, and defensive abilities, Rodri is considered one of the best midfielders in the world.
Rodri began his career at Villarreal before moving to Atlético Madrid in 2018. A year later, he joined Manchester City for a then-club record €70 million. Since then, he has played a key role in City's dominance, helping them win multiple Premier League titles, FA Cups, and the UEFA Champions League (2023).
For Spain, Rodri has been a crucial player, contributing to their UEFA Nations League victory in 2023.
