Robert De Niro

Robert De Niro (born Robert Anthony De Niro Jr. on August 17, 1943) is an American actor, producer, and director, widely regarded as one of the greatest actors of all time. He is best known for his roles in The Godfather Part II, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, and Goodfellas.

De Niro gained early acclaim for his performance as the young Vito Corleone in The Godfather Part II (1974), winning his first Academy Award. He became a frequent collaborator with director Martin Scorsese, starring in classics like Taxi Driver (1976), Raging Bull (1980), Goodfellas (1990), Casino (1995), and The Irishman (2019). His range spans from intense dramas to comedies such as Meet the Parents (2000) and The Intern (2015).

Beyond acting, De Niro is a successful businessman, co-founding the Tribeca Film Festival and investing in the Nobu restaurant chain. He is also an outspoken political and social activist.
