Wizkid (born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun on July 16, 1990) is a Nigerian Afrobeats singer, songwriter, and global music icon. He gained fame with his 2011 debut album, "Superstar," featuring the hit "Holla at Your Boy."

In 2016, Wizkid achieved international recognition with "One Dance", his collaboration with Drake, which topped the Billboard Hot 100. His album "Made in Lagos" (2020) included the Grammy-nominated global hit "Essence" (feat. Tems), making him the first Nigerian artist to achieve Billboard Hot 100 and RIAA platinum certification.

Wizkid has won multiple awards, including a Grammy, BET Awards, MOBO Awards, and MTV EMAs.
